Yuletide Guitar - We Three Kings, O Come, O Come Emmanuel, and Bring A Torch, Jeannette, Isabella

 Hello everyone,

Guess who's back? Back again? 😂Anyway, here are a few more of my Christmas guitar tunes. I'm proud of myself for learning these because some of them were quite difficult. I've come such a long way from last year, I'm doing songs with several new and advanced chords with quick switches. Cheers to learning new music theory!

Folk Christmas/Yuletide Guitar - Lo O'er a Rose Blooming, Good King Wensaslas, Little Jack Frost

 Hello everyone!

This Christmas season I have been working towards my goals of playing more complex holiday songs. I have been really digging the traditional hymns this yuletide, so I set out to learn the folk tunes of the past instead of just the usual suspects like "Jingle Bells."

Below are a few of my favorites. Some of them are quite obscure, like "Lo o'er a Rose Blooming" and some are a little more recognizable like "Good King Wenseslas." Yet others, are not traditional tunes at all but Indie folk with a winter vibe.

I hope you enjoy! Thanks for letting me share my hobbies with you. :)

Learn Fire Fans With Me! Tutorials on the Basics

 Hey there!

Here's a few quick tutorials on my new "thing" that I have been nerding out on. It's fire fans!

You light them on fire and spin them around! And you can dance with them, and make routines. There's all kinds of wild costume accessories you can buy or create. Yes please! I know it's a bit risky but I think it could also be a phenomenal amount of fun. I have a heavy belly dance background so when I saw these at the Renaissance Festival one year, I was like "I want to learn how to do that!" So. I AM.

I got these fire fans for Christmas a few years ago, and I started learning them but life got in the way and I had to take a hiatus. Recently, I've been practicing with them again in my dance space and so I decided to do a few short tutorials on the basics and add them to my dance YouTube Channel.

I thought I would post the tutorials here as well, in case anyone else is interested in learning this odd little hobby with me. I don't know why but learning new skills that incorporate a bit of the bizarre along with dance and costumes just makes my life worthwhile. Thanks for geeking out on cool stuff with me!
